Bought this portable propane heater as a gift for my husband, so far we love it. We’ve named it the “backyard buddy,” that’s the only testing we have done so far. Seems safe for kids and pets. Throws out lots of heat.

Definitely a good product to have if you camp, hunt, or experience power outages.

I use one in my wood shop and it really works well. In fact I am here to get another. Heats a mostly uninsulated standard two car garage from 30 to 65 degrees in about 30 minutes. A standard 20lb propane cylinder will keep this guy going for about 30 hours. In summary, I would recommend this portable propane heater.

Now, this portable propane tent heater is not going to make your tent into a sauna on a very cold day, so don’t expect to get in the tent and lounge in your skivies like you might do at home! But after burning for about 10-15 min, it should raise the temperature in your tent several precious degrees making it bearable; even comfortable. For instance, it did keep me from having to wear my heavy coat while inside the tent, which pleased me.

The heater works with one- or 20-gallon propane cylinders, and you also have the option of using hose connectors (not included). This portable propane heater may be operated free-standing or as a wall-mount.
